It does not apply to your relationships with other service providers that are not affiliated with The Associates Group, Inc. such as insurance companies The Associates Group represents or from which it obtains insurance products/services for you. INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

We collect information about you to quote and service your insurance needs. This is called “Nonpublic Personal Information” if it identifies you and is not available to the public. We collect this information from some or all of the following sources.

•  Application information: Information obtained directly from you such as what you provide on applications and other forms you submit to us. This can include information you provide to us by phone or on-line. Types of information can include your name, address, phone numbers, email address, driver's license number, social security number, date of birth, gender, marital status, type of vehicle, information pertaining to other drivers or any other person seeking coverage, and prior insurance information.

•  Consumer Report information: We obtain this information from consumer reporting agencies. This can include motor vehicle records, claim history reports from other insurance carriers and credit report history.

•  Transaction Information: This is information about your transactions with us and /or our affiliates. It includes your insurance coverage selections and premiums, payment and claim history. It also includes information we may require for billing and payment.

LIMITS ON SHARING INFORMATION COLLECTED ABOUT YOU

We may share the information collected about you to our affiliates only as permitted by law. We will not share your Nonpublic Information with other companies for their marketing purposes without your consent. Your information may be disclosed to those entities we feel are necessary in order to provide insurance products, insurance claim or customer service or to prevent fraud. These entities may include insurance companies, underwriting companies, agents, claim representatives, service providers, consumer reporting agencies, insurance agents or brokers, law enforcement, courts and government agencies.

Only where permitted by law, we may also disclose limited information to service providers or joint marketers with regard to promoting services or products for our company.

SECURITY PROCEDURES TO PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

We restrict access to your Nonpublic Information to our employees and others we feel must use it to provide products and services to you or to service your account. The use of this information is limited by law and employees who violate confidentiality requirements are subject to disciplinary action. TO REVIEW YOUR INFORMATION

You may review your personal information in our records. If you believe any information in our records is incorrect, you must request in writing that the information be corrected, amended or deleted. You must identify the kind of information you want to review. Your written request for information must include your full name, address, policy number and either your social security number, drivers license number or date of birth. We will investigate and correct, amend or delete information you believe to be incorrect if we substantiate the error. We will not provide information that we feel is privileged, such as information about insurance claims or lawsuits.
